Corporate HSE Policy

Integrated Specialized General Contracting Company – W.L.L (ISCCO) firmly believes that strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance is essential for sustainable success in all EPC, maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround activities across the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors. ISCCO operates a HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015, ensuring our work meets the highest industry and client standards. HSE is fundamental to our decision-making, risk management, operational execution, and value creation. ISCCO is committed to protecting our people, our partners, the community, and the environment while delivering safe and reliable services.

  • Comply with this HSE Policy and the HSE Management System.
  • Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, meetings, and trainings.
  • Support a positive HSE culture and take responsibility for their safety and the safety of others.

 

This policy will be reviewed annually in the Management review meeting and where deemed necessary will be amended and re-issued.

CORPORATE QUALITY POLICY

Corporate Qulity Policy

Integrated Specialized General Contracting Company W.L.L. (ISCCO) firmly believes that sound QMS performance is key to ensure sustainable business in all its EPC, maintenance, shutdown and turnaround activities in oil, gas and petrochemical industries by operating a Quality Management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 29001:2020. Thus, it shall be considered as an integral part in the business decision making process that is beneficial to all stakeholders of the Company.

ISCCO is committed to:

  • Satisfying applicable requirements by ensuring that customer’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met.
  • Ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with contract, client specifications, international codes and standards and within contractual time frame.
  • Continual improvement of QMS by ensuring that the risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services and the ability to enhance customer satisfaction are determined and addressed and the focus on enhancing customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Implement and maintain an effective QMS that provides guidance on objectives and performance standards and ensure that there is strong leadership and very clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure that the quality policy and quality objectives are established for the QMS, and are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the Company.
  • Ensure that the resources needed for the QMS are available; including training, support, work environment and encouragement, and communicate the importance of effective quality management and of conforming to the ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 29001:2020 requirements.
  • This policy will be communicated to all employees and available to all the stakeholders.
  • Employees and other interested parties are requested to co-operate and assist in the implementation of this policy, which will lead them to improve their and our performance, and it will become a key component of our business strategy

CORPORATE ENERGY POLICY

Corporate Energy Policy

Integrated specialized General Contracting Company – W L L (ISCCO) firmly believes that an effective and sound Energy performance is key to ensure sustainable business in all its EPC, Plant Turnaround & Shutdown, Overhaul & Refurbishment and Maintenance works in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries by operating Energy Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 50001:2018. Thus, it shall be considered as an integral part in the business decision making process that would be beneficial to all stakeholders of the Company.

ISCCO is committed to:

  • To achieve a long- term reduction in our energy consumption. We will adopt a multipronged approach to continually improve energy efficiency in all our processes that affect energy consumption and including improving energy control equipment and system requirements.
  • Establish a frame work for setting and reviewing our energy objectives and targets. This should ensure that necessary resources are allocated and information is available to encourage meeting the objectives. We will review the targets annually during Energy Management Review Meeting.
  • Set energy performance indicators and establish a clear reporting structure with defined responsibilities, for continual improvement.
  • Regularly monitor our energy consumption and produce an annual report. We will highlight different factors that are responsible for energy consumption; In addition we will aim to continually improve the existing monitoring system.
  • Ensure continual improvement on energy reduction by keeping company’s staff, employees and stakeholders informed.
  • Comply with applicable legal and other requirements related to organization’s energy use, consumption and efficiency.
  • Support the purchase of energy efficient products and services and design for energy performance related to organization’s businesses.

The Energy policy will be available to the stakeholders, employees through our notice board and web page. The energy policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary.

SAFE ROAD TRANSPORTATION POLICY

Safe Road Transportation Policy

Integrated specialized General Contracting Company – W L L (ISCCO) is committed to the delivery of its obligations with regard to safe road transportation at work and recognizes that there are specific risks to employees / materials being transported, other road users and employees who are driving on behalf of the company. We are committed to improve the transportation safety of our employees and all associated partners with the ultimate goal of achieving ZERO incident during vehicle transportation.

Our commitments are:

  • To provide company owned or hired vehicle, with all legal documentation, well maintained, equipped with all safety / emergency equipment and suitable for the purpose to the employee / driver.
  • Record driving incidents and analyze them with a view to identify the actual causes and defining possible measures to avoid their recurrence.

Inline with our Organization efforts, the following control measures have been identified and must be responsibly implemented by any employee/driver (he or she), in agreement with UAE traffic rules & regulations and client standards.

  • Authorized driver assigned to or operating a Company Vehicle is fully responsible for its proper use, care and adherence to traffic laws.
  • Driver must have a valid appropriate driving license and necessary trainings for the vehicle to be driven.
  • Driver must be in good health condition and fit to drive at all time.
  • Driver and passengers must wear seat belts at all times during transit.
  • Driver must abide by the speed limits and the local regulations.
  • Driver must maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front to stop / brake safely.
  • Driver must not use a hand-held phone while driving a vehicle for any reason.
  • Driver must have a list of emergency contact numbers on-board for use in case of accidents or emergency situations.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other controlled substance is strictly prohibited.
  • Driver must check the vehicle condition prior each trip and report for any maintenance required.
  • Driver must check the weather condition (fog/storm/rain) along the route to travel and must reschedule the trip in case adverse weather conditions are expected.
  • Driver must check and ensure that the materials to be transported are appropriately stacked, covered and secured before start of the journey.

 

Every individual in ISCCO is responsible for the strict enforcement of this policy. Breach of this policy shall be taken very seriously and could even result in termination of one’s Employment contract.

CODE OF ETHICS AND BUSINESS CONDUCT POLICY

Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Policy

Integrated specialized General Contracting Company – W L L (ISCCO) firmly believes that the success of our business is dependent on the trust and confidence we earn from our customers, stakeholders and also employees. To maintain a high standard of conduct and to make sure that the company and its employees maintain good reputation in the community, the employees must comply with the standards of ethical conduct as stipulated and required in their jobs as below:

Good personal conduct attributes and responsibility of employees shall include,

  • Positive attitude and observing all rules, policies, regulations, procedures, decisions and instructions related to the performance of their official duties.
  • Treating clients, co-workers with respect and in a professional manner at all times.
  • Working safely, maintaining and respecting the Company’s assets at all times.
  • Perform the duties with care, diligence, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Strive for the highest ethical standards, not just the minimum required to meet legal or procedural
  • Compliance with the Law of the country – UAE.
  • All employees shall avoid all types and form of corruption and/or bribery/acceptance or paying of bribes.
  • It is strictly forbidden to accept any material gifts except for those of a symbolic or promotional nature that bear the logo and name of the presenting party.
  • All employees irrespective of their grade or title can bring to the attention of management of any improper practices and acts of corruption for further investigation and disciplinary action.

Conflict of Interest,

  • As a condition, the employees shall not own or be part of other entities in the UAE
  • All employees must avoid, while carrying out their duties, any conflict of interest between their private activities and the Company’s interests and operations.
  • In specific should not misuse their position, or leak information gained through their association with the Company, to achieve specific goals or to obtain favours or privileged treatment.

Relationship with the Clients/Public,

  • Employees shall not involve themselves in any promotional activity related to Clients and remain impartial in their dealings.
  • Refuse any attempt by a client or supplier offering inducements or other personal benefits in exchange for favours or special treatment, and report such attempts to the management.

Fair & Ethical treatment with Contractors/ Vendors/ Suppliers / Service providers

  • Employees entrusted with sourcing/buying   responsibilities   are expected to negotiate fairly, to obtain the best possible deal for the company, without any favoritism and /or prejudice.

Dress Code & Uniforms

  • Employees should be dressed formally when they meet customers within and outside the Company offices. Any of the categories of employees provided with the Company uniforms must at all occasion be properly attired in the same.

Bullying and Harassment

  • Company aims to provide equal employment opportunities to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, ethnicity, caste, gender, nationality, origin, religion, age, disability or marital status.
  • Any discrimination against any employee at any level shall be reported to the management leading to strict disciplinary action.
SMOKING, DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY

Smoking, Drugs and Alcohol Policy

Integrated specialized General Contracting Company – W L L (ISCCO) is committed to provide a safe, healthy and secure environment to all of our employees, and anyone involved in our operations and activities.

This Policy applies to all Employees, Subcontractors and Visitors of ISCCO.

SMOKING:

Smoking is not permitted at: Offices, work areas / fields, dining, recreation & storage areas and inside company vehicles.

While we do not encourage smoking at all, it is permissible only at the designated smoking areas. It is the responsibility of the employees smoking in these areas to ensure that cigarette butts are disposed of properly using the receptacles provided.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL – ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY:

No employee shall commence work, or return to work under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The possession and/or use of medications is prohibited except when prescribed by a Medical practitioner or permitted by law.

No employee or other person shall unlawfully possess, use, sell or distribute illicit drugs or alcohol while engaged with ISCCO or while in ISCCO Camp premises.

Prescription Drugs:

Employees using prescription drugs which may potentially affect their ability to work (for example, if the prescription drug causes drowsiness, headaches, nausea etc.) are responsible to inform their Manager / Supervisor in advance.

Every individual at ISCCO are responsible for the strict enforcement of this policy. Breach of the conditions of this policy shall be taken very seriously and could even result in the termination of one’s Employment contract.

Sustainability Policy

Integrated Specialized General Contracting Company WLL (ISCCO) firmly believes that sustainability and environmental responsibility are essential to achieving long-term business success and supporting the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industries we serve. As an ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 50001:2018 (Energy Management) certified company, ISCCO is committed to operate responsibly, conserving natural resources, and minimizing environmental impacts across all ISCCO operations.

Our Commitments

Environmental Protection & Compliance: Prevent pollution, protect ecosystems, and comply with all applicable legal and other requirements related to environmental protection, energy use, and sustainability performance.

Resource Efficiency & Climate Action:

  • Reduce energy and fuel consumption through efficient practices, daily diesel monitoring, and use of hybrid vehicles, SCR trucks, LED lighting, and reduce idling hours by monitoring IVMS.
  • Promote water conservation and responsible usage across all activities, including drinking water, ablution and jetting.
  • Apply the 3R Principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to minimize waste generation, promote digitalization (SAP), and ensure safe disposal of hazardous waste via approved vendors.
  • Prevent soil contamination by enforcing a Zero Spill Target using spill kits and soil protection measures.

Sustainable Procurement:

Integrate sustainability into all possible procurement and design activities by selecting energy-efficient and environmentally responsible materials, equipment, and services.

Innovation & Continual Improvement:

  • Monitor and review energy and environmental performance through measurable objectives and annual reviews.
  • Promote digitalization and technology (IVMS, SAP) to enhance efficiency and reduce paper use.
  • Drive continual improvement through annual sustainability reviews and performance reporting.

  • Conduct quarterly awareness sessions and campaigns to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
